Japan Holiday Concierge creates deeply personal journeys for travellers who want to experience more than the Japan they can easily find online.
I am bilingual in Japanese and English, based in Australia, and work directly with people and businesses in Japan in Japanese.
This allows me to look beyond the English-speaking travel world — researching, communicating and exploring possibilities on your behalf that may otherwise be difficult to discover or access.
But finding unusual places is not the point.
Finding what is right for you is.
Your journey should not begin with a list of destinations.
It should begin with you.
Perhaps you are drawn to quiet places, beautiful landscapes and small towns.
Perhaps you love exceptional hotels but have little interest in conventional luxury.
Perhaps you want to understand Japanese culture rather than simply observe it.

Helping bridge the small misunderstandings that can make a surprisingly large difference when travelling in Japan.

Although Japan Holiday Concierge is based in Australia, I remain available during your journey when questions, language difficulties or unexpected situations arise.
One person, from our first conversation to your journey through Japan.
Japan Holiday Concierge is intentionally small.
There is no sales team handing you to a planner.
There is no catalogue of itineraries for me to choose from.
And there is no anonymous support desk once you arrive in Japan.
The person who listens to you is the person who researches your journey, communicates in Japanese on your behalf, designs your itinerary and supports you while you travel.
Me.
That is deliberate.
Because the better I understand you, the better I can design your journey.
Perhaps you could plan it yourself.
In fact, many of my clients could.
The question isn’t whether you are capable of booking Japan yourself.
You almost certainly are.
The question is whether you want to spend your time finding and evaluating everything yourself — while remaining largely within the world of Japan that is readily accessible in English.
